Actuality, you might not be banned. If you try to log in and it says ';Unable to connect to Bnet, this maybe an invalid server, or if you are using a modem or dial-up, you may have to manually connect to the Internet before playing.'; The message is something like this. Anyway, if that is your message you ARE NOT CD key banned. Blizzard doesn't ban CD keys either, they perm IP ban, but do not ban CD keys. If you are IP banned, and do not get this message, then buying a new game won't do any good.





To answer your actual question, you need both CD's in order to play on the Frozen Throne, but just one if you only play RoC. I hope I helped, good luck, and happy gaming.
