According to Taiwan Blood Services Fundation, they are taking the following steps to ensure the quality of blood:





A：目前捐血機構對於防範HIV有下列措施：





At the location, they post posters.


1.捐血地點入口處張貼海報呼籲高危險群千萬不要來捐血，





The poster shows the high risks group and ask them not to donate blood.


海報上面明確說明那些是屬於高危險群。





At the location, they provide HIV information booklets.


2.捐血地點內提供HIV宣傳單張，





They have the lists of hospitals and consultants addresses and phone numbers.


該資料內有諮詢及檢驗醫院名單。








3.填寫捐血登記表：該表上方再次提醒高危險群請勿捐血，





The blood donation form asks the high risks group not to donate blood.





並說明那些是高危險群，





And AIDS Act's regulation and rules and penalties.


及「後天免疫缺乏症候群條例」規定的罰則。





Ensuring the identies of the donors, the center asks for the donor's ID.


4.請捐血人提供有照片之身分證明文件，以確認捐血人身分。





The center match the AIDS patients with the record.


5.電腦資料查詢：本會各捐血中心所有電腦中有行政院衛生署列管的





These record are from CDC.


所有愛滋病帶原者名單及行政院衛生署通知需要列管的名單，





The center will refuse HIV positive donating blood if they are on the list.


如經查屬不適捐血名單，即婉拒捐血。

6.私密性面談：各捐血點均設有私密性空間進行捐血前面談，





It ensures the privacy of the donor.


在面談過程中也注意捐血人的隱私問題，





Again, they will inform the high risks group not to donate blood.


如捐血人告知可能有愛滋感染之高危險行為，即婉拒捐血。





Conscious phone call:


7.良心回電：在捐血過程中，以「良心回電」宣傳單再次提醒捐血人，

如有高危險行為，捐血過程中未告訴工作人員，





asks the donors to give the blood center a ';conscious'; phone call within 5 hours if the donors are in the high risk group.


請在5小時內以電話告知捐血中心。
